1. Introduction
Codika is a command-line interface (CLI) designed to streamline mobile development. It provides commands such as codika build
, codika promote
, and codika patch
, and integrates with third-party tools like Firebase, gcloud, Flutter, gh, Mason, and shorebird to simplify development workflows.
2. Acceptable Use
By using Codika, you agree to the following:
Prohibited Activities: You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Codika executable or its source code.
Non-Transferability of CLI Keys: CLI keys are intended for individual use only and must not be shared or transferred to others.
Device Limit: Each CLI key may be used on a single computer at a time.
Unauthorized Access: You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to Codika, related systems, or infrastructure.
Compliance with Laws: You must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.
Respect for Intellectual Property: You must not infringe upon or misuse Codika's intellectual property, branding, or any proprietary content.
3. Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
No Indirect Damages: Codika shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.
Specific Exclusions: Codika is not liable for any issues arising from misuse, unauthorized access, or modifications to the tool.
Liability Cap: Total liability for any claim related to the use of Codika shall not exceed the total amount paid by the user for the service.
Third-Party Dependencies: Codika shall not be liable for any issues caused by third-party tools or services used alongside or integrated with Codika.
User Responsibility: While Codika facilitates certain workflows (e.g., versioning), users are solely responsible for their own backup practices and source control.
4. Intellectual Property
Ownership of Codika: Codika, including its executable, codebase, design, and all associated content, is the intellectual property of [Your Company Name] and is protected under applicable copyright and trademark laws.
User-Generated Output: All mobile applications, code, or content generated by users through the use of Codika remain the intellectual property of those users. Codika does not claim ownership of user-generated output.
5. Termination
Conditions for Termination: Access to Codika may be terminated at any time if there is a breach of these Terms, including but not limited to misuse, unauthorized sharing of CLI keys, or reverse engineering attempts.
Revocation of CLI Keys: CLI keys may be revoked if suspicious activity is detected, such as use from multiple users or devices not compliant with the terms.
Licensing for Teams: Companies must purchase a separate CLI key for each developer using Codika on a project.
Notice of Termination: In cases of minor breaches, we may issue a notice and allow time for correction. Severe or repeat violations may result in immediate termination without prior notice.
